WHY MEALS AREN’T INCLUDED:
We believe that enjoying food is a personal experience.
We want you to eat what you like, when you like. With our guide’s help, you can order freshly cooked meals, explore local menus, and enjoy the freedom to try what looks good to you—no cold, pre-set meals.
PAYMENT TERMS:
- Book at least 3 days before your trip
- Secure payment within 24 hours after submitting your reservation.
- Bank transfer (Wise/PayPal for $, BPI for ₱)
- Public Holiday Surcharge: 10% surcharge/person during Lunar New Year, April 18, April 30, May 1, August 31, September 1-3, December 25, December 31, January 1.
REBOOKING POLICY
We offer free rebooking for all private trips — but please note the following terms:
- No fee to change your travel date (subject to availability).
- If your new date falls on a public holiday, a 10% holiday surcharge will apply per person.
- If you originally booked a holiday date and rebook to a non-holiday, the surcharge cannot be refunded.
PICK-UP INFORMATION:
- Pick-up time is flexible based on your schedule, anytime between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM.
- Arrive at the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your selected pick-up time
- Return pick-up from Hoi An after 9:00 PM will be subject to a surcharge per hour.
If you wish to add an additional destination or stop along the way, surcharges may also apply — please inform us in advance to arrange accordingly.
WHAT TO WEAR:Varies by destination. Please refer to the specific trip page for detailed recommendations.
CANCELLATION:
- More than 3 days before the tour → 30% refund
- Less than 24 hours before the tour → no refund can be provided
- If the tour is canceled or rescheduled due to extreme weather or force majeure, we will do our best to refund higher than 30%, depending on the situation, as some costs may be non-refundable due to charges from our partners.
- The reservation fee is set at 70% of the total price and is non-refundable due to pre-booking commitments and the airline’s non-refundable policy.
- The remaining balance of the land arrangement costs must be fully paid at least 30 days before the scheduled tour.
- For trips booked less than 30 days before the tour date, full payment is required immediately to finalize the booking.
- By sending the payment, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be sent back to the same account from which the payment was originally received. Any request for a refund will be subject to our terms and conditions.
Same-Day Refund Requests:
All payments are non-refundable once sent, even if requested on the same day, due to pre-booking arrangements.
However, if a same-day refund is requested within 2 hours and before any reservations have been finalized, a partial refund may be granted, deducting a processing fee of 20% for administrative fees.
Children’s Discounts:
- Children aged 5–9 years old are eligible for a 10% discount on the package tour.
- Infants and children up to 4 years old may participate free of charge.
Air Ticket Issuance:
Official airline tickets and the travel itinerary will only be issued after the reservation fee has been successfully received.
Airfare Rate Changes:
Airline rates are subject to change without prior notice. Tara Travel Co. will inform the customer of any rate changes before proceeding with the booking.
We only receive payments via Bank of the Philippine Islands, Wise, and Payoneer with TARATRAVEL.CO Travel and Tours Agency as the account name. We only ask for payments through our email bookings@taratravel.co or our Official Facebook page.
Do not entertain any other individuals or entities requesting payments using our name, as they are not authorized representatives of Tara Travel Co. We are not liable for any transactions made outside our official payment channels. If you receive any suspicious payment requests, please report them to us immediately.
If the package includes airfare:
- The reservation fee must include the full airfare cost plus 50% of the land arrangement cost. Both are non-refundable due to pre-booking arrangements.
- The airfare cost and the total land arrangement cost will be clearly communicated before payment to ensure transparency.
- The remaining balance of the land arrangement costs must be fully paid at least 30 days before the scheduled tour.
- For trips booked less than 30 days before the tour date, full payment is required immediately to finalize the booking.
Ticket Issuance:
Official airline tickets and the travel itinerary will only be issued after the reservation fee is successfully received.

Minor Passengers:
- Parents or legal guardians must accompany minor passengers under the age of 18.
- If a guardian accompanies the minor, a clearance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is required.
Health Conditions:
- Travelers must disclose any existing health conditions or concerns that may affect their trip with the travel company.
- Changes in health conditions must be promptly communicated.
Medication:
Travelers with pre-existing conditions are responsible for bringing necessary medication and managing their health during the trip.
Liability and Insurance:
- Tará Travel Co. is not liable for injury, death, loss, or damage of valuable items during the trip.
- Travel insurance is available as an optional add-on and is highly recommended for additional protection.
- Travelers must provide emergency contact information and any necessary documentation for a smooth process.
Health Disclosure: Travellers are required to disclose any existing health conditions or medical concerns that might affect their participation in the trip.
Any changes in health conditions before or during the trip must be promptly communicated to Tará Travel.
Traveller Responsibility: Travellers with pre-existing health conditions or medical concerns must ensure they have the necessary medication, treatments, or equipment to manage their health during the trip.
Travellers take full responsibility for managing their health condition and any related consequences during the trip.
Emergency Situations: In situations of unexpected medical emergencies or declining health while travelling, Tará Travel cannot be held responsible or liable. However, we are available to offer guidance by providing information about where travellers can seek necessary assistance or medical care.
Travellers agree that Tará Travel and its representatives are not liable for any medical outcomes or consequences resulting from pre-existing health conditions or emergency situations during the trip.
Death: In the unfortunate event of a traveller’s death or accidents during the trip, Tará Travel is not liable for these occurrences. However, Tará Travel can provide assistance in making necessary arrangements, as per local regulations and customs, to the best of its abilities.
Travellers or their designated representatives must provide emergency contact information and necessary documentation for such situations.
Liability Waiver: Travellers acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with their pre-existing health conditions while participating in the trip.
Travellers release Tará Travel and its representatives from any liability arising from pre-existing health conditions, emergency situations, or death during the trip.
Travel Documents:
- Travelers are responsible for ensuring they possess valid travel documents, including passports and visas.
- Passports must be valid for at least six months upon departure and arrival and must not be tampered with or damaged.
Immigration Decisions:
- Tará Travel Co. is not liable for immigration decisions that prevent passengers from departing.
- No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Flight Schedule Changes:
Airlines may change flight schedules at their discretion. Tará Travel Co. will assist with rescheduling but may incur additional charges based on the airline and service fee.
Airport Arrival:
Travelers must arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure. Tará Travel Co. will not be held liable for missed flights.
Room Allocation:
- Hotel rooms accommodate two people each. If the group is odd, one room will include three people. Two people will possibly share a bed, depending on the available room at the time of your booking.
- Families with children under 10 years old may have children stay in the same room as the parents.
Booking Confirmation:
- Hotel bookings will only be confirmed upon full payment.
- If the preferred hotel is unavailable, a similar-class hotel will be booked.
Incidental Deposit:
An incidental deposit, dependent on the room category, is required upon check-in and is refundable upon check-out if no additional charges are incurred.
Check-In and Check-Out:
- Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM onwards, and check-out time is 11:30 AM–12:00 PM.
- Early check-in and late check-out are available on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges.
Tará Travel is committed to accommodating travellers with disabilities or specific requirements. Please inform us of any special needs or accessibility requirements during the booking process.
Communication of Special Requirements: Travellers needing special accommodations should communicate their needs to Tará Travel during the booking process, enabling us to make necessary arrangements.
Specific Assistance: We offer personalized assistance tailored to individual needs, ensuring we cater to specific requirements to the best of our ability. We’ll inform you of the extent to which we can accommodate your needs.
Accessibility Information: Information on the accessibility of accommodations, transport, and destinations can be provided upon request. This includes details about wheelchair-friendly locations, accessible facilities, and any limitations.Privacy and Confidentiality: All information regarding special requirements is handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for trip planning purposes. We adhere to strict privacy policies to protect your personal information.
- More than 30 days before the trip: Free one-time rescheduling. The reservation fee is non-refundable.
- Less than 30 days: 30% refund from the paid remaining balance, excluding the reservation fee.
- Less than 15 days: 20% refund 30% refund from the paid remaining balance, excluding the reservation fee.
- 7 days to 24 hours before and during the trip: The tour fee is non-refundable due to final booking arrangements.
- If Tara Travel Co. cancels due to tour service unavailability, a full payment refund will be issued.
- No refunds for passengers unable to pass immigration or those who miss their flights.
- In cases of force majeure, both parties will aim to minimize damages.
By sharing your content, including photographs or captions, you grant us permission to use it worldwide, royalty-free, for any purpose, including marketing, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to use or discontinue any content at our discretion.
You must have permission from all individuals in the photos, especially minors, to share their images and names with us. You affirm that you have the necessary permissions.
You agree not to submit content that violates intellectual property rights, defames, invades privacy, or is inappropriate or harmful.
All images and testimonials on our social media platforms are from travellers who gave us permission to use them.
Our trips vary in destination, budget, and dates. Each trip is unique and may differ from what’s shown on social media.

We’re certain your furry friends are adorable, but they can’t accompany you on your trip. Apologies, no pets allowed.
The COVID-19 pandemic, declared by the World Health Organization, is a known highly contagious disease. Tará Travel cannot guarantee prevention of exposure or transmission of COVID-19 during our services. Travelling during this pandemic increases the risk of exposure.
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge the risks associated with COVID-19 while travelling and release Tará Travel and its representatives from any related claims. This includes personal injuries, death, or property losses resulting from exposure or infection.
Travellers can postpone travel dates for a fee until reservations are finalised. Once confirmed, changes are subject to providers’ rules and may incur additional expenses.
Tará Travel will not tolerate disrespectful, hateful, harmful, or inconsiderate language or actions towards any member of the Tará Travel team, hotel partners, tour operators, or activity providers.
Any language or actions contrary to the rules outlined in these Terms, the Terms of hotels, tour operators, activity partners, or local, state, or national regulations will result in immediate termination of Tará Travel services for the remainder of the trip.
travellers found breaching this agreement or the regulations set by third-party suppliers during a trip will be prohibited from future travel with Tará Travel. No additional services or refunds will be granted or guaranteed in the event of a breach of these Terms.
We may recommend products or services in our content that are monetized through our travel partners or other similar affiliate marketing programs (referred to as ‘Affiliate Links’).
If you purchase a product or service through an Affiliate Link, we may receive revenue from that purchase. The use of Affiliate Links is disclosed in our marketing materials as follows: ‘Tará Travel may receive a commission from products or services you purchase from this newsletter/blog/etc.’
All products and services linked through Affiliate Links are vetted and selected by the Tará Travel Marketing Team. This means that we choose products and services we believe in, want to try ourselves, or already own. Please note that not all of our links are Affiliate Links.
