TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tará Travel Co respects and protects the privacy of all clients.

Personal information collected will be used solely for processing travel arrangements and will not be shared with third parties, except as required to complete bookings (e.g., airlines, hotels, or tour operators). All personal data is handled in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all personal details provided during booking, adhering to travel schedules, complying with local laws and regulations, and following instructions from tour representatives.

Tará Travel Co will not be liable for delays or issues resulting from a traveler’s failure to comply.

a. Reservation: A 70% down-payment of the total trip cost is required to secure booking. This payment is non-refundable, as it secures reservations and commitments to services.

b. Full Payment: The remaining balance must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled tour. If the trip is booked less than 30 days before the tour date, full payment is required immediately to finalize the booking.

c. Trips Within 30 Days: full payment is required immediately to finalize the booking.

d. Accepted Payment Methods: Payments may be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods as specified at the time of booking. All transaction fees are the responsibility of the traveler.

e. Availability and Price Changes: Hotel accommodations and airline seats are subject to availability at the time of booking. Availability and prices may change without prior notice. Travelers must notify us once they are ready to proceed with booking so we can confirm and secure the available slots. Please note that airline fares are dynamic and may fluctuate until full payment is received and tickets are issued.

g. Payment Confirmation: Bookings are not considered confirmed until payment has been received and an email confirmation has been issued by Tará Travel Co.

h. Air Ticket Issuance: Official airline tickets and the travel itinerary will only be issued after the reservation fee is successfully received.

i. Airfare Rate Changes: Airline rates are subject to change without prior notice. Tará Travel Co will inform the customer of any rate changes before proceeding with the booking.

 

We only receive payments via BPI, Wise, PayPal, Maya and G-Cash with TARATRAVEL.CO Travel and Tours Agency as the account name. We only ask for payments through our email bookings@taratravel.co or our Official Facebook page.

Do not entertain any other individuals or entities requesting payments using our name, as they are not authorized representatives of Tará Travel Co We are not liable for any transactions made outside our official payment channels.

If you receive any suspicious payment requests, please report them to us immediately.

Once the traveler has reviewed and confirmed the final itinerary and inclusions, and payment has been made, any subsequent changes or requests to modify the itinerary (such as adding destinations, upgrading hotels, changing activities, or adjusting travel dates) will be accommodated whenever possible.

Any resulting cost difference, including rate adjustments from service providers, will be borne by the traveler.

Tará Travel Co will provide an updated quotation for the revised itinerary before proceeding with the changes. Additional charges must be settled prior to confirming the revised arrangements.

a. Parents or legal guardians must accompany minor passengers under the age of 18.

b. If a guardian accompanies the minor, a clearance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is required.

If the package includes airfare:

  1. The reservation fee must include the full airfare cost plus 50% of the land arrangement cost. Both are non-refundable due to pre-booking arrangements.
  2. The airfare cost and the total land arrangement cost will be clearly communicated before payment to ensure transparency.
  3. The remaining balance of the land arrangement costs must be fully paid at least 30 days before the scheduled tour.
  4. For trips booked less than 30 days before the tour date, full payment is required immediately to finalize the booking.

 

Ticket Issuance:

Official airline tickets and the travel itinerary will only be issued after the reservation fee is successfully received.

 

Airfare Rate Changes:

Airline rates are subject to change without prior notice. Tará Travel Co. will inform the customer of any rate changes before proceeding with the booking.

a. Travelers must disclose any existing health conditions or concerns that may affect their trip with the travel company.

b. Changes in health conditions must be promptly communicated.

c. Travelers with pre-existing conditions are responsible for bringing necessary medication and managing their health during the trip.

a. Tará Travel Co. is not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage to valuable items during the trip.

b. Travel insurance is available as an optional add-on and is highly recommended for additional protection. Travelers may also purchase insurance through GInsure by GCash, with pricing and coverage subject to GInsure’s own terms, conditions, and policies.

c. Travelers must provide emergency contact information and any necessary documentation to ensure a smooth process in case of emergency situations.

Airport Arrival:

Travelers must arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure. Tará Travel Co will not be held liable for missed flights.

Travel Documents:

a. Travelers are responsible for ensuring they possess valid travel documents, including passports and visas.

b. Passports must be valid for at least six months upon departure and arrival and must not be tampered with or damaged.

Immigration Decisions:

a. Tará Travel Co is not liable for immigration decisions that prevent passengers from departing.

b. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Flight Schedule Changes:

Airlines may change flight schedules at their discretion. Tará Travel Co will assist with rescheduling your hotel and tour bookings but may incur additional charges.

Room Allocation:

a. Hotel rooms are typically arranged for two guests per room; however, room assignments may be adjusted based on the client’s preferences and availability.

b. Families with children under 8 years old may have the children stay in the same room as the parents, subject to the hotel’s room capacity and policy.

c. Children aged 8 years and above are charged the same rate as adults.

Booking Confirmation:

a. Hotel bookings will only be confirmed upon full payment.

b. If the preferred hotel is unavailable, a similar-class hotel will be booked.

Incidental Deposit:

An incidental deposit, which varies depending on the room category and the hotel’s policy, is required upon check-in. This deposit is refundable upon check-out, provided no additional charges are incurred.

Check-In and Check-Out:

a. Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM onwards, and check-out time is 11:30 AM–12:00 PM.

b. Early check-in and late check-out are available on a case-by-case basis and may incur additional charges.

a. Punctuality: Travelers are expected to arrive on time at all designated meeting points. The tour will proceed as scheduled, and Tará Travel Co will not be liable for missed activities or transportation due to late arrival.

b. Attendance: Travelers who fail to join the tour on the scheduled departure date and time will be considered a “no-show.” No refunds will be provided for missed portions of the tour.

c. Behavior and Conduct: Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers, tour guides, and local communities. Tará Travel Co reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant who causes disruption, endangers others, or violates local laws.

d. Itinerary Changes: Tará Travel Co reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to weather conditions, operational requirements, or unforeseen circumstances to ensure the safety and comfort of all travelers.

e. Unutilized Services: No refunds will be issued for unused services, such as missed meals, transfers, or optional tours, once the trip has commenced.

f. Local Regulations: Travelers must comply with all local laws, customs, and guidelines in each destination. Failure to do so may result in termination of participation without refund.

g. Tour Guide Authority: The tour guide’s decisions during the tour are final in all matters concerning safety, itinerary adjustments, and group coordination.

Airport Transfer

a. Arrival Pick-Up: Your driver will be waiting at the arrival area holding a welcome card with your name for easy recognition.

b. Departure Drop-Off: Please be ready at the hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure, as parking can be limited in the city.

c. If you are bringing more luggage on your return, kindly inform us in advance so we can arrange a larger vehicle if necessary. Additional fees may apply.

 

Private Car and Driver

a. Car and driver details will be sent approximately two hours before each trip via Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp.

b. Please be ready at the pickup point at least 10 minutes early, as parking can be challenging in certain areas.

c. Local drivers may have limited English proficiency, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.

d. Drivers follow the confirmed destinations listed in your itinerary. If you wish to visit different or additional locations, please notify us in advance. Extra fees may apply.

 

Private Tour with Tour Guide

a. Please be ready at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour departure to help keep the day on track.

b. Tour guides will follow the confirmed destinations in your itinerary.

c. If you wish to make any changes or add extra stops, kindly coordinate directly with your guide or our support team. Extra fees may apply.

d. Your tour guide will assist throughout the day and ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

 

Private Car Rental Duration and Responsibility

a. The allotted time agreed upon for each private car rental or transfer is fixed and based on the confirmed booking.

b. If travelers decide to return earlier than scheduled—whether by personal choice or due to weather or other circumstances—the total price remains the same, as the vehicle and driver have been reserved exclusively for the day.

c. If a later pick-up time is requested less than 24 hours before the original schedule, the ending time will remain unchanged to respect the driver’s work hours and subsequent bookings.

d. Tará Travel Co. and its partners prioritize passenger safety at all times. Travelers are required to follow safety instructions and use seat belts when available.

e. In cases of traffic delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen events, itineraries may be adjusted for safety and efficiency. Tará Travel Co. shall not be held liable for delays or missed activities caused by such circumstances beyond our control.

Refunds apply only to the remaining balance and exclude the non-refundable 70% reservation fee. The refundable amount depends on how far in advance the cancellation is made.

a. Same-Day Refund Requests: All payments are non-refundable once sent, even if requested on the same day, due to pre-booking arrangements. However, if a same-day refund is requested within 2 hours and before any reservations have been finalized, a partial refund may be granted, deducting a processing fee of 20% for administrative fees.

b. More than 30 days before the trip: The 70% reservation fee is non-refundable due to pre-booking arrangements. The remaining 30% balance is fully refundable.

c. Less than 30 days before the trip: Only 20% of the 30% remaining balance is refundable.

d. Less than 15 days before the trip: Only 10% of the 30% remaining balance is refundable.

e. 24 hours before and during the trip: The tour fee is non-refundable due to final booking arrangements.

f. If Tará Travel Co cancels due to tour service unavailability, a full payment refund will be issued.

g. If you wish to rebook your flights, Tará Travel Co will assist in rescheduling your flight, hotel, and tour bookings; however, additional charges may apply in accordance with the airline and hotel policies.

h. Airline booking cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions of the airline.

i. No refunds for passengers unable to pass immigration or those who miss their flights.

j. In cases of force majeure: In cases of natural disasters, government actions, civil unrest, or other events beyond the control of either party, both parties are released from liability for non-performance. Tará Travel Co. will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or modify travel arrangements to minimize losses.

Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days from the date of confirmation, depending on airline and hotel partner policies.

Refunds will be issued only to the original account or payment method used for the transaction.

Bookings made under a traveler’s name are non-transferable unless approved in writing by Tará Travel Co. Additional fees may apply for name or booking changes, subject to airline and hotel policies.

Tará Travel Co acts only as an intermediary between the traveler and service providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators).

The company shall not be held responsible for acts, omissions, or conditions beyond its control, including flight delays, cancellations, accidents, or losses.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising shall be settled under the jurisdiction of the proper courts of City of Manila.

Tará Travel Co is committed to accommodating travellers with disabilities or specific requirements. Please inform us of any special needs or accessibility requirements during the booking process.

Communication of Special Requirements: Travellers needing special accommodations should communicate their needs to Tará Travel Co during the booking process, enabling us to make necessary arrangements.

Specific Assistance: We offer personalized assistance tailored to individual needs, ensuring we cater to specific requirements to the best of our ability. We’ll inform you of the extent to which we can accommodate your needs.

Accessibility Information: Information on the accessibility of accommodations, transport, and destinations can be provided upon request. This includes details about wheelchair-friendly locations, accessible facilities, and any limitations.

Privacy and Confidentiality: All information regarding special requirements is handled with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for trip planning purposes. We adhere to strict privacy policies to protect your personal information.

By sharing your content, including photographs or captions, you grant us permission to use it worldwide, royalty-free, for any purpose, including marketing, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to use or discontinue any content at our discretion.

You must have permission from all individuals in the photos, especially minors, to share their images and names with us. You affirm that you have the necessary permissions.

You agree not to submit content that violates intellectual property rights, defames, invades privacy, or is inappropriate or harmful.

All images and testimonials on our social media platforms are from travellers who gave us permission to use them.

We’re certain your furry friends are adorable, but they can’t accompany you on your trip. Apologies, no pets allowed.

The COVID-19 pandemic, declared by the World Health Organization, is a known highly contagious disease. Tará Travel cannot guarantee prevention of exposure or transmission of COVID-19 during our services. Travelling during this pandemic increases the risk of exposure.

By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge the risks associated with COVID-19 while travelling and release Tará Travel and its representatives from any related claims. This includes personal injuries, death, or property losses resulting from exposure or infection.

Travellers can postpone travel dates for a fee until reservations are finalised. Once confirmed, changes are subject to providers’ rules and may incur additional expenses.

Tará Travel will not tolerate disrespectful, hateful, harmful, or inconsiderate language or actions towards any member of the Tará Travel team, hotel partners, tour operators, or activity providers.

Any language or actions contrary to the rules outlined in these Terms, the Terms of hotels, tour operators, activity partners, or local, state, or national regulations will result in immediate termination of Tará Travel services for the remainder of the trip.

travellers found breaching this agreement or the regulations set by third-party suppliers during a trip will be prohibited from future travel with Tará Travel. No additional services or refunds will be granted or guaranteed in the event of a breach of these Terms.

Tará Travel Co reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Travelers will be notified of any changes before their booking is finalized.

We may recommend products or services in our content that are monetized through our travel partners or other similar affiliate marketing programs (referred to as ‘Affiliate Links’).

If you purchase a product or service through an Affiliate Link, we may receive revenue from that purchase. The use of Affiliate Links is disclosed in our marketing materials as follows: ‘Tará Travel may receive a commission from products or services you purchase from this newsletter/blog/etc.’

All products and services linked through Affiliate Links are vetted and selected by the Tará Travel Marketing Team. This means that we choose products and services we believe in, want to try ourselves, or already own. Please note that not all of our links are Affiliate Links.

By signing this document, the traveler confirms that they have reviewed and agreed to the confirmed itinerary, inclusions, and the Terms and Conditions of Tará Travel Co.

If the booking includes multiple travelers, the undersigned acts as the authorized representative of the group and confirms that all participants have provided their consent to proceed under the same terms and conditions. Kindly list the full names of all travelers included in this booking.
